Since its founding 65 years ago, the Coriell Institute for Medical Research has been a home for scientists dedicated to the betterment of human health. Our founder, Dr. Lewis Coriell, was instrumental in the creation of the polio vaccine and our current personalized medicine study, the Coriell Personalized Medicine Collaborative, is determine how the genome can be used to prevent and better treat complex diseases.

We’re located just a short distance away from Camden’s bustling waterfront, home to more than $400 million of development and with Cooper University Hospital next door, and near longtime industry leaders like Penn Medicine and Drexel.
