The biopsy site is the mesial aspect of the mid-upper left arm, taken antemortem. The primary culture was initiated from explants of a 2 mm-punch biopsy. The cell morphology is fibroblast-like. The culture is a mosaic with karyotype: 46,XY/46,XY,8p-,22q+/46,XY,1p+,3p-,3q-,11p-,21q+; balanced; 70%/16%/10% with 4% of the cells examined showing random chromosomal abnormalities.
