Mission and Organization

Working together with the Coriell Institute for Medical Research, the Orphan Disease Center (www.orphandiseasecenter.med.upenn.edu) and the LouLou Foundation have established a secure, centralized repository to store and distribute quality-controlled induced pluripotent stem cells (or iPSCs) representing CDKL5 deficiency disorder, paired with the isogenic control to give research scientists access to this resource of biomaterials, and to support the discovery of therapeutics that will slow or prevent CDKL5 deficiency disorder (CDD). Additional resources such as antibodies will also be available in this catalog in the near future.
