Clinically affected; had first seizure at age 1 week, which was associated with fever; from this point until age 3 had 1 generalized tonic-clonic seizure per month; treated with phenobarbitol; medication stopped about age 3-4; one breakthrough seizure since medication was stopped; neurological, motor, sensory and cerebellar examinations were all normal at age 6; telemetry results negative; grandmother, 2 uncles, sister, and mother are also affected |
