Remarks |
The biopsy site is the mesial aspect of the mid-upper left arm, taken antemortem. The primary culture was initiated from explants of a 2 mm-punch biopsy. The cell morphology is fibroblast-like and the culture is a mosaic with karyotype: 46,XX/46,XX,inv(4)(p16q27); 92%/8% with 4% of the cells examined showing random chromosomal aberrations. Donor has been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and osteoporosis. The legacy karyotype description shown in this Remark may not be representative of the current available product. |
