Confirmation Clinical summary/Case history
ISCN 45,X/46,XY
Species Homo sapiens
Common Name Human
Remarks The biopsy site is the mesial aspect of the mid-upper left arm, taken antemortem. The primary culture was initiated from explants of a 2 mm-punch biopsy. The cell morphology is fibroblast-like. The culture is a mosaic with karyotype: 45,X/46,XY; 6%/94% with 16% of the cells examined showing random chromosome loss/gain and 8% showing random chromosomal aberrations. A culture initiated from a biopsy taken 16 years earlier from this same donor is AG04552A. The legacy karyotype description shown in this Remark may not be representative of the current available product.
