William T. Carson, Jr.

Coriell Board of Trustees – Emeritus 

William T. Carson is the retired president of Sullivan-Carson, Inc., a textile manufacturing company located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and York, South Carolina. Previously, Mr. Carson was co-founder of Covenant Bancorp of New Jersey, a publicly traded bank subsequently acquired by Wachovia, and was also director of MedQuist, a leading provider of medical software technology and services.

Mr. Carson earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame. He was a licensed mechanical engineer in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

In addition to serving as immediate past chairman of Coriell’s board, Mr. Carson served as Mayor of Pine Valley Borough from 2003 to 2009, is a past president of the Tavistock Country Club, and past board member of the Southern New Jersey Blood Bank.
