GENE MAPPING & DOSAGE STUDIES - CHROMOSOME 8 |
DNA from this somatic cell hybrid gave negative results in Southern blot hybridization analyses with probes for 8q22q23, D8S5, and 8q13q22.1, CA2, and gave a positive result with a probe for 8p21, NEFL. M. Wagner, Research Triangle Park, NC, (personal communication) reported that PCR analysis of DNA from this somatic cell hybrid gave positive results with primers for 8p22, D8S258, and 8p21.3-cen, D8S259, and gave negative results with primers for 8q11, MOS, 8q13q22.1, D8S286, 8q22.2, D8S271, 8q22.3, D8S276, and 8q24.3-qter, D8S263. PCR analysis of DNA from this somatic cell hybrid gave positive results with primers for 8p12, D8S87, and 8p21-p11.2, LHRH, and gave negative results with primers for 8p23-p22, DEF1, 8q11.22-q12, D8S260, 8q22.2, D8S270, 8q23-q24, D8S199, and 8q24, TG. |
