Remarks Clone LTSMC-3T. This culture is a clonal derivative of line LTSMC-3, AG10187, from a 6 month old male New Zealand White rabbit, initiated on 7/14/88 using cells released by protease/collagenase digestion. Cell morphology is epithelial-like. In vitro lifespan studies on this culture were halted at PDL 126. This culture may be immortal. The culture tested positive for alpha-smooth muscle actin and negative for the endothelial cell-specific von Willebrand factor (immunofluorescence assays).
