HAPMAPPT09
96 WELL PLATE OF DNA SAMPLES
Description:
INTERNATIONAL HAPMAP PROJECT - MAASAI IN KINYAWA, KENYA (PLATE II)
Aliquot Size:
50 µg each
Sex:
Males: 45 Females: 45
Brief Description:
The HAPMAPPT09, from the Maasai in the Kinyawa location in Kenya, includes a set of 90 samples from unrelated individuals (who are also unrelated to the samples on HAPMAPPT09). In addition, there are 5 duplicated samples and 1 buffer control. For the initial lot of HAPMAPPT09 the concentration of each DNA sample was normalized at a concentration of 250 µg/µl and there are 50 µg per well. A DNA fingerprint is determined to verify the identity of samples on the plate. The positions of the 5 duplicated samples and the buffer control are indicated in the plate layout by gray shading.
